Eyesight and hearing about Emba, Brendy, Lord Jonah and General Manton stopped.

I was confused, why could the eyesight and hearing about it be posted on me?

Was it a kind of anchor of the mind that was anchored when did video calling with Lord Jonah just now, then made me able to see the events afterwards openly?

I thought that my ability was similar to Angel Curly who could see the past and also similar to Ariesty who could see the future. The difference was I could see the current events, when the events were taking place. 

My ability to see events in their midst.

I thought about the sad thing about the scandalous Risty’s family.

Risty’s mother was Lieutenant General Emba who was involved in a love triangle and actually Lieutenant General Emba was behind the scenes of the Chimera Project. General Manton was just like a pawn driven by Emba.

Poor Risty, when she was in pain she didn’t know her parents’ past. Fortunately she didn’t have the ability of Angel who could go back to the past.Surely her inner pain was more suffered.

I was grateful by the additional information from my eyesight, it made me to not wrong in stepping. 

I started browsing with my Android, checking whether the expedition had delivered my goods to my mother’s house.

Oh, thank God. This morning it had arrived, it meant Lord Jonah’s aide could take all my goods without be left out anything.

Knock… Knock… Knock…

“Moi, let’s have dinner.” Mrs. Rose’s voice heard, knocking on my door.

“Yes, Mrs. Rose.” I said, opening the bedroom door.

Not felt it was 07.00 p.m. I and Mrs. Rose walked into the dining room.

“How is Codi, Mrs. Rose?” I asked anxiously.

“The important thing is that he is still alive. He is being treated in the ICU, his condition is very critical. Hopefully he can get past his critical period, but if he life, he is forced to lose his legs. His legs, especially under his knees, looked very bad.”

I choked. Even though I didn’t like Codi’s arrogant behavior, often beat Rado with his taekwondo kicks, but a life-long disability reply or death was also very terrible. 

Mutual reprisals were really not commendable, revenge ended tragically and the results were terrible like this.

I spent the night for resting. I didn’t try to contact Mama, William or Adrian because Jeff would be monitoring me. My body was tired and my mind was heavy because of the many problems today.

The next day, I and Mrs. Rose walked into the dining room for breakfast.

It appeared that there were several soldiers at the dining room. They glanced at the arrival of us.

Ouch… it was because of me, Codi’s condition between life and death.

“‘For plan today, who will Moi visit?” asked Mrs. Rose surprised me.

“Ah, the easy one Mrs. Rose might be Henry, Risty, Ron or Angel. Moi needs a lot of rest to get away from stress. I don’t dare to have a serious case. Lord Jonah will get angry again.” I said while accepting my food from the soldier in charge of managing the kitchen.

“Yes, you should wait for Lord Jonah to come if you want to visit Vicko, Leman, Rado. Your responsibility will be greater if there is more commotion.” answered Mrs. Rose while holding her drinking cup.

“Miss Moi, after having breakfast Risty asks you to come to her room.” a voice was heard beside me.

I turned, apparently Sister Reina. She passed while carrying the tray of food.

“Oh yes Sister, after this Moi will go there.” I answered happily because my activities today had been not scheduled.

“How is Risty, Sister?” Mrs. Rose asked when Sister Reina sat next to me.

“It tends to decrease, because the enlargement of the head is increasingly pressing the cranium. Hopefully the hospital outside has been ready to surgery.” said Sister Reina while arranging her plate.

After having breakfast I and Mrs. Rose rushed to Risty’s room.

Did Risty have something in sight that she wanted to convey to me?

I stepped into Risty’s room. The smell of drugs caught my nose.

The girl was lying on her bed. His eyes narrowed, seemingly withstand the pain, but she tried to keep spirits up.  

“Good morning, Moi. I’m glad you want to come.”

I approached Risty’s bed. Staring at the girl who used to be pretty, charming and now she was so thin, fragile and enlarged head. It made me heartsick.

“Yes, Risty. Of course, I came. I am also glad that Risty wants to meet me.” I said, holding her bony hand.

“I have a gift for you, Moi.”

Sister Reina gave Risty something. 

Risty took it and then passed it on and handed it to me. 

Oh… a book.

“My book is ready. As my promise, I give it fresh from the oven. The first time is for you.”

I felt flattered and smiling. 

“Wow, thank you, Risty. I’m glad your book is ready. Fast enough, too. Cool, Risty. ”  

“I must pursue my time. Even though I know time is something that goes in eternity, but I must walk faster to achieve it. Most likely my ability to see the future is lost after surgery. Please enjoy, Moi. This is not a publisher’s print, just a computer print. But I’m glad I managed to finish it before I have surgery my head,before I get to the end of my destiny.”  

I really admired her. Her determination, her enthusiasm for life was so high. In my heart I hope that this girl in front of me was able to get through the difficult operation later.  

“Of course, Risty. I’ll read it later. I am much honored that your great work you give it to me for the first time.”

I held Risty’s book while thinking, a girl as good as Risty why her family was full of intrigue and many problems were difficult to solve.  

The book wasn’t so thick.

I was reminded that this girl who had been determined to be sick, actually there were heavy things that go along with her, it were her family’s problems. I could not possibly tell what I saw in the eyesight yesterday, it was so heavy mental burden.

“Moi, you may go back to your room if you have other work.” Risty said, casting me out softly.

I smiled, 

“No, Risty. I’m free this morning. Ah yeah, Risty can I ask something?”

Risty closed her eyes. Her large and bulging forehead was twitching. Was she holding headache? But the expression on her face was so calm, even her lips were like a smile. That smile… a smile of happiness. I got goosebump, what was in Risty’s mind that she could have that expression?  

“Hmm… please, ask Moi. If I can answer it, I will answer.”

I held her thin right hand, 

“Risty, I want to ask. What really happened to this Chimera Project resident? And maybe it happened to both of us too.” I asked half whispering to her.  

Risty opened her eyes.The pair of eyes was glinting at me.

She opened her mouth but canceled out words. Her forehead filled with bluish veins was twitching, as if she was thinking of the best sentence to answer my question. 

“Honestly, I want to say. I know something will happen here, Moira. But because of my condition, I cannot tell you, both in real and in symbolic form. As you know, the time can take the best of me. It could be the golden momentum that it snatched.”

“The time moves in eternity and it is absolute. Even though the future still has a lot of probabilities, but I don’t want to adverse bargain or take the wrong opportunity. It can be fatal. Just a Little, I can tell you. Hold on to the best. When you have to choose, don’t to not choose or remain silent. Keep moving with your pure conscience. The future is a mystery of eternityand you are part of the future. In your hands the future of the world is at stake.”

“I can’t overtake it about your micro cosmos, although the macro cosmos depends on you, everything is your choice. As you see, my body condition dropped drastic. It seems that in the near future I have to go. I just need to wait for the momentum” 

Sister Reina continued, 

“Yes, Moi. Risty’s condition today is rather good, but last night she was in pain and had a high fever. The decision to take her abroad for surgery must be made immediately this week. No more delay.”

“I think enough for today, Risty. I have to go back to my room to make a report.” I said goodbye to Risty for fear she suddenly collapsed like the other day.

Risty nodded and waved her hand.

A moment later, I and Mrs. Rose walked into the front room, towards our room. 

“Look the book, Moi.” said Mrs. Rose pointed to the book I was holding. 

I gave the book to her.

The front cover has a strange picture. There was a picture of a robot held a human head, with the big title “Future Paranoid” by: Ariesty Manton

Mrs. Rose accepted the book. The beautiful woman immediately opened the first page.  

“From the picture, it looks like Risty wants to say goodbye to us, Moi.”

“Oh, yes? Is that so? I haven’t seen it yet. But seeing Risty’s condition this morning, the girl looked healthy, could talk for a long time. She also said that in the near future the operation must be immediate, it can’t be delayed any longer.”

Mrs. Rose sighed, 

“It’s a pity, Risty with all of her intelligence and ability has to experience something like this, doesn’t she.” Mrs. Rose gave Risty’s book back to me.

“Yes, Mrs. Rose.” We both stepped in silence. 

I thought when my package arrived. My father’s handkerchief was there. I wanted to ask Risty the condition of my father in the future. Was he still alive or no longer shaped? I wished Risty hadn’t left for surgery, when I asked. I can also ask Angel and hopefully her psyche won’t be interrupted when I asked later.

My mind wandered erratically. 

“Now, Moi wants to relax for a moment, Mrs. Rose, before having lunch. Today Moi wants lots of rest, still in shock thinking of Codi. Even the smell of burning flesh as if was still smelled by my nose until now.” I said. 

Mrs. Rose nodded. 

“Yes, about this morning his leg amputated. Poor Codi, a taekwondo kick expert, has become a disabled person all his life.”

“Moi, if you have something have to tell us, please tell us. Especially with regard to Vicko, you as a psychology graduates run duty to warn because there are fewer soldiers here. Don’t let the dangerous things that Vicko planned happen suddenly. Whereas you knew, but you don’t tell us.” Mrs.Rose’s words startled me. 

Why did she suspect me suddenly?

“By the way, two more days is Curly’s birthday, Moi.” said Mrs. Rose as if changing the subject.  

“Yes, Mrs. Rose, I remember, even I ordered a present for her. Tomorrow Jonah should bring it from the capital.”

“What gift have you prepared, Moi?” asked Mrs. Rose was interested.

“Angel is thirsty for love, Mrs. Rose. She needs special attention and special human touch. I bought clothes that I thought were good for her.”

“Order online, Moi?”

“Hahaha… yup. Now in the digital age, everything can be done via mobile phone. I asked for the delivery address to my mother’s house. Oh my gosh, I miss my mother and her cooking, unfortunately there isn’t any in the online shop.”     

Mrs. Rose laughed.Her beautiful, mature face and cleverness created its own charisma.

“Geez… Mrs. Rose is this pretty how come don’t want to get married soon.” I teased

“Umm, you’re nosy. You’ll catch up with the handsome guy later, yeah…” she replied to tease me.

For a moment her laugh broke out, then looked at me with a still carefree face, 

“Moi, actually if I may be alone, there is no need for me to remarry. For me it’s something that is nothing to lose, I can do anything according to my purpose. There is no need to curb me. My life is free without bond now because the marriage is commitment and being bound, sometimes not happiness that comes but pain. And the fun is my sleep soundly every night. no one is bothering me or a body lying next to me. Hahaha…” 

“And there’s no chainsaw sound beside you in the middle of the night, Mrs. Rose.” I said.

Ah, if I could escape from this island, how happy I was.

I didn’t want to think of grandiose things, other than wanting to get away from this scary place, especially before the deadly fight that will be held by Lord Jonah in this week.

Before lunch, I took rest physically and mentally to try listening the telepathic conversation tonight.

I just laid relaxed in my bed for an hour, before I reopened my laptop and plugged in the flash disk of Chimera’s ‘top secret’ to understand the contents that it was rather complicated and challenged me.

I was remembered the threat of Vicko to me that he was eyeing this flash disk, so I planned to move the contents of this flash disk to my laptop. Later, by keeping this blank flash disk I can freely move anywhere without fear of losing this flash disk.

Towards evening, Henry’s voice came through telepathy,

“Moi, hoi Moi.”

“Eh, Henry, what’s up?” I asked while turning off my laptop.

“I’m fine Henry, studying the contents of a flash disk. How are you today?”

“I’m fine Moi. I don’t take medicine anymore because it disrupts my concentration. I have to be brave to face Alfa in a few days. Now I have to calm down while strengthening the ability of my brain.” he said.

“What is the content of the flash disk, Moi? Why it must be learned.”

“There are many things that Moi has never known Henry, but the development of the ability of the brain can be learned and improved, this is an extraordinary thing.” I explained cautiously as well because I was thinking that who knows this telepathic conversation will be heard by Alfa and friends.

“Henry, I’ll try listening to their telepathic traffic tonight. I think I’m ready.”

“The point is that when you listen, you have to stay alert Moi. If you get caught, leave their conversation immediately. Don’t let Alfa attack you.” Henry advised me.

“Okay Henry, I’ll take a break before late at night I try to listen to them.” I said goodbye so that my body was still fresh at night.

After having dinner, I took rest while waiting late at night.

Around 10:00 p.m. I started to be alert.I sat cross-legged on the floor, began to listen with full concentration. I unite myself with the earth where I was sitting cross-legged, to absorb its energy. Relax, adjust the breath, focus to find silence.

I threw out annoying noises, like the sound of the waves and the night animals and then began to uncover a weaker sound until the sound of my breath was not felt.

Finally, I found SILENCE!

I enjoyed the silence, it was somewhere empty. It felt like I wasn’t on the scary island of Chimera. I didn’t know how long I was in that silence and it was time for me to look for voices.

My exploration of searching for voices produced results, from a distance sounded like someone whispering. There was another voice, I focused on their conversation. Slowly the voice of the person who was talking was clearly heard. 

Heard a voice,

“Alfa to Charlie, are you clear your role? All have their respective roles. Whoever is in our way must be killed, no matter who he is. We have a maximum of 20 minutes to leave, before military helicopters arrive ten minutes later.” 

heard the sound of the other,

“How is about the apprentice girl, Alfa?”

The first voice heard again,

“Let Charlie handle it. No matter she’s an apprentice girl, she has to die too.”

I gasped and accidentally my telepathic were threw into the middle of their telepathic traffic,

“Haa… what the hell is this.”

An another voice,

“Let me see my friends. There is an intruder again. This is not the dandy. This time, who are you?”

I threw my mind again,

“What do you want to do? Want to kill humans why conspiring.”

A voice was heard, 

“Her style is like heroine and idealistic, Charlie.”

“Ooh, this looks like that the apprentice girl. She’s trying to listen to us, Alfa.” another voice came.

“Bravo, Charlie, Delta, Gamma, try to be quiet first. let her  feel my strength.” the first voice spoke, it was Alfa.

“Who are you guys? Why do you have hearts so jealous?Even you are jealous of life.” I burst into the middle of their telepathic traffic.

“Hahaha… you’re quite a smart kid. The dandy taught you this ability. it can improve like this, even infiltrate in the middle of our conversation. He taught you well, but not enough. Unfortunately your ability is still far compared to mine. Hahaha…” Alfa’s voice filled my mind, felt echoing in my mind.

I rebelled, 

“Alfa, whoever you are. Realize! There is no point in killing other people, they are life.”

“Unfortunately, I’m not a lover of life, girl. I’m millions of years old and it’s time I reappear for this period. I always take life to strengthen myself. That is my source of energy. Hahaha… “

A moment, 

A power wasn’t seen to grip my head. The darkness flowed from the tip of my head covered up my mind. My body felt frozen. I felt I could not move my body.

I FROZE! 

Unable to get out of this zone of mind, trapped in a strong grip.I tried to struggle, like someone tried to wake up from a nightmare, but my body was like to be tightly bound. As if someone was pressing on me or trapping me strongly.

I didn’t know and had never felt a situation like this. My mind went messy, as if the way out that I was trying to go was covered by a black wall.I couldn’t move myself or struggle, the grip on my head was getting stronger.

Suddenly I felt thrown strong and CRASHED!

“Aaaarrgghhhh…” 

I screamed when my body threw in the air then rolled on the floor.

That power took hold of me and was able to throw my body!

My wrists and knees ached when I tried to stand up.

I stood with trembling, my breath was racing and beads of sweat appeared on my hands and neck.I was confused, telepathic traffic was cut off.

Hell! Alfa was able to throw myself through the power of his mind.

His telekinesis ability was above Mrs. Rose’s ability. The possibility thing was Alfa mastered my brain then threw me with the coordination of my own body. It was clear that I couldn’t control my own body.

Even I fell hard, luckily my head wasn’t hit by the floor.

Knock… Knock…

There was a knock at the door and Mrs. Rose’s voice. 

“Moi, what’s up screaming?”
