The attitude Jeff had just shown confused me, but I didn’t want to bother anymore. I had to trust and relied on myself.

I returned to my room then locked the door and assessed the results of the test Leman had worked on.

Half an hour I found the result that in fact Leman was not schizophrenic as was diagnosed by Mrs. Rose, so treatment interventions can make the situation worse moreover Leman was treated through his drink while Leman didn’t know.

It reminded me of Leman warning me about Abaddon the destroyer and I was nicknamed La Pucelle by him.

I didn’t consider the conversation all important. Only at this time was developing me as suggested. 

Opening a flash disk file and reading the knowledge in it was important and I needed to train my psychokinetic powers so that my abilities were greater and I was more confident.

I spent the night by studying, calming down and training myself.

The next day at breakfast, I asked Mrs. Rose to prepare Rado in the investigation room after visiting Henry.

“I’ll prepare it later. For Rado will be escorted by Rupert, Codi and Ricko. This morning I don’t need to go, Moi when you meet Henry. It will interfere.” Mrs. Rose teased while poking my cheek.

I smiled responding to her teasing while thinking, even though Mrs. Rose didn’t come she must had monitored me via CCTV.

An hour later, Henry and I met in his cell. I sat in a plastic chair while Henry sat on the edge of the bed. My position and Henry were close and facing each other. We chatted close in a low voice.

“Henry, how do you do today?”

“I’m fine, Moi. Medicine from Mrs. Rose helped me to sleep and I try to think positively to this day that I’m still alive, even though I’m isolated on this island. Moi, the time is getting close. In a matter of not until a week I think there has been a big incident in this place. You must get out of this place immediately.” Henry said seriously as he looked into my eyes.

“Oh my gosh… How fast that time is. When we come out later, we have to go out together, Hen. I can’t leave you and do not know how. And how do we get out? After all, I’m bound to a 6-month work contract here.”

“Don’t mind me Moi and fuck the work contract that traps you. The safety of your life is more important.”

Henry tossed his thick hair, the ends of his hair almost covering his eyes.

“There is a speedboat but the fuel is in Jonah’s room. We have to go through guarding of the guards, being watched by CCTV both by guards and Jonah himself.” 

I hold my forehead. It felt dizzy to think of the best way to escape from this place to freedom.

“More I imagine, our escape seem impossible, Hen. Impossible.”

“We haven’t tried it yet, haven’t we? Don’t give up, Moi.”

“Besides the guard who scattered in all directions, we have to pass the locked doors. Then the distance between the fort’s door to the speedboat that is far and if I managed to leave, my family’s life was threatened. Lord Jonah certainly will not be silent, I walked home. I think this idea of running away should be forgotten.”

Henry was silent.

“Henry… Henry…” 

I held his hand when Henry was doubt. he looked at the iron-lined window, it seen white clouds marching in the blue sky.

“Yes, Moi?”

“Sorry, it isn’t my intention to dash your hopes. But oh, Henry… you know that I’m actually very scared.”

Henry hugged me,

I felt Henry’s warm embrace covered my body. I was touched by Henry’s recognition of his past to me and that thrilled me was an expression of his love for me.

Didn’t feel my tears falling, whether the tears touched, happy or the result of despair, I didn’t know too.

Suddenly my eyesight opened again, I saw in the control room, Jeff and Mrs. Rose was staring at the CCTV monitor.

“Ooh, hohoho… so sweet…” Jeff’s voice chuckled at me and Henry who were hugging.

I pushed Henry slowly, we were spied on again!

“It’s really touching.” said Mrs. Rose

“Look at your student, Rose.” 

“This isn’t the result of my upbringing, Jeff.” Mrs. Rose smiled.

“Youth is a beautiful time, uhuyy…” Jeff whistled.

“This is not Romeo and Juliet’s drama, Jeff.” Mrs. Rose laughed.

“There seems to be a sad story, look her eyes are wiped.” Jeff pointed at the monitor. 

“Try zooming in.” asked Mrs. Rose

“She has cried.” said Mrs. Rose

I who was wiping my eyes stopped and then tried to pull my smile.

“What’s up Moi, why are you silent?” Henry asked, interrupting my eyesight and hearing.

I told Henry what I saw and heard.

Henry was not emotional,

“That is precisely Moi, be careful here. There is no one worthy of you to trust besides me. I’m glad you can have that ability.”

“I don’t think Mrs. Rose behaves like that to me, Henry. But I don’t care, I really thank you for expressing your feelings to me, let this be the spirit of my life.” I said, holding Henry’s hand.

The sound of the wall like being hit next to me, Rado was acting up!

“Yahoo… Why are you whispering, what’s up, research or dating, huh?” shouted Rado, it was heard mocking.

“Yes, Rado, after this Moi wants to meet you, you’ll be picked up by Mr. Codi, okay?” I shouted back.

 After having lunch, Mrs. Rose and I walked to the observation room. This afternoon I would record Rado, a young man with his electro kinesis ability.

My steps moved slowly without enthusiasm. Soldier Enricko with a stern face greeted us with gesture a military salute.

“Good afternoon, Mrs. Rose and Miss Moira. Rado is ready in the investigation room. I monitor in the observation room, the tappers I put under the table. So I can report Miss Moi’s research to Lord Jonah if he returns tomorrow complete with your video and conversation. “

“Good afternoon, Mr. Ricko. Thank you for your escort.” I replied. 

I rarely saw him, because the average soldiers here was all in uniforms and hats so it took time to memorize their faces and names.

“Mr… Mr. Ricko!”

The soldier stopped his step and looked at me, 

“Yes, Miss?”

“Who is escorting in the investigation room?” I asked.

“There are Mr. Codi and Doni, Miss. they are ready inside.” he said then passed.

I and Mrs. Rose walked toward the investigation room.

I thought what I could do to leave this place together with all the residents of the island safely without violence.

Was it possible to report everything that happened to the Chimera to the United Nations? Or to the President?Or to the Minister of Defense?

My steps unnoticed led me to the door of investigation room.

Mrs. Rose preceded me by scanning her finger to the machine, to open the door. 

I took a deep breath and exhaled slowly, trying to regulate the calmness of my feelings.      

Rado had been prepared inside.

Rado was in a sitting position, in front of Rado there was a large wooden table for the barrier. Behind him there were Codi and Doni ready with a tonfa. His hair as usual was messy. His T-shirt was a white tank top with a picture of a shabby Hawaiian beach, so did the tactical pants that looked dirty.   

The look in his eyes wildly looked at me, while smiling faintly. The right and left hands were bound by a plastic strap which was connected to the leg of the investigation table.   

“Hi, Mrs. Beautiful doctor. Eh, Miss Beautiful Psychologist, nice to see you again.” greeted Rado.

Rado’s neck was hung a scarf from me. The orange color was dirty.  

I looked at it and thought, this man didn’t keep the scarf that Mama made so lovingly for me.

I sat in front of Rado. Two soldiers were on standby behind Rado chairs, they were Doni and Codi.

“Rado, today you look uhm… high- spirited.”

“Of course, I’m always excited and waiting for the time to meet a beautiful psychology graduate. I’m really jealous of my dandy cellmate. You are very close and like to whisper.”  Rado modified the whisper’s word to make his pronunciation clearer.

I looked at him, 

“Rado, why are your lips bruised?”

“You know Moi, a few days ago bro Codi’s leg needed to practice a few times massaging my face, is it right Bro?” Rado glanced up Codi who was behind him.

“Finish. No need to mess with me, my kick can make your teeth break if you want to challenge me.” said Codi, grasping his tonfa.

“But swear bro. I’m a manly, I scream at midnight because I’m beaten and kicked, not like a handsome guy whose cell is next to me. There is nothing, how come he’s hysterical and can fall himself. hahaha…” Rado laughed while looking at me.

“And I’m fine, Moi. I slept well accompanied by this orange scarf. Before… its smell of girls, now its smell of acid in my armpits. Hahaha…” Rado said while swiping the end of the scarf to his armpit and smelling it while smiling.

My eyes turned from his face. Actually I was queasiness and wanted to fed-up to see it.

I put the files that I brought on the table. 

“Your electrical ability is truly incredible, Rado. We want you to be cooperative so that this research does not last long, because I want to rest again in my room.” 

I reached for my file, 

“I have prepared a list of questions. I hope Rado will fill them out. Thank you for your cooperation.”

Rado glanced at the paper I held out before him. His hands crossed in front of his chest. 

“I’m not used to writing. I’m not an office secretary. I’m Rado. The electro kinesis, the expert on short circuit, including short circuit your hearts. hahahaa…” Rado laughed loudly.   

I looked at each other with Mrs. Rose was sitting next to me. We both knew that we must not offend or provoke Rado, to avoid the things we didn’t want together, in the midst of a heated situation like now.

“Do quickly, what’s difficult to fill it?” said Codi while patting Rado’s shoulder with his tonfa.

I saw Codi and Doni carrying wooden tonfa, not iron tonfa as usual. It seemed they didn’t want to be hit by electricity from Rado.

Mrs. Rose took a deep breath and then said calmly, 

“We don’t want to hurt you, Rado. Just… well, we both work here under the leadership of Lord Jonah. I really ask Rado to help us fill out this list of questions.”

Rado looked at me meaningfully then held out his hand. 

“Actually I don’t want to say it, but… well, there’s nothing wrong I do goodness to help you guys… before you flounder following Dragono, don’t you?”

My breath was felt stop. I looked each other with Mrs. Rose again. Was this a threat to us? Or warning?

Mrs. Rose held out her ballpoint and placed it on the table. Rado took it and started reading my questionnaire.  

His glance returned to me, a moment later he began working on the questionnaire I made.

After almost half an hour I chased his words earlier,

“Rado, what do you mean by I and Mrs. Rose will flounder like Dragono?”

Rado threw the ballpoint toward the table, shoved the questionnaire paper which I gave back to me slowly. The two soldiers behind Rado seemed to be on standby for every movement of Rado which was limited because it was bound by a plastic strap.   

“All of us who are here will die, Moi. So save your energy. Don’t bother giving me tests like this anymore.”

“Rado, Moira has struggled to compile a list of questions specifically for you, cherish her.” said Mrs. Rose, her tone was a bit sharp.

“You’re a special, Rado. You should improve your attitude so that your future is better. Right now isn’t it better to cooperated, is it? This is also for your own good. Lord Jonah will definitely consider a reward worthy for you.”

“Ahahaha…” Rado laughed loudly. 

“Mrs. Rose, Moira, both of you is really just Jonah’s pawns, yeah.  The focus of Jonah is still someday, he eliminates me and anyone he doesn’t like. While me? I’m not the same as you guys. I’m not a pawn but King… yeah, I’m the King.”

I was provoked, 

“Then what will happen next, Mr. King? Do you know how we can hmm… away from him?”

Rado glared at me, 

“I should have kept a secret. Hmmm… But given this sweet orange scarf that I received from you, I’ll open a little secret.” Said Rado while waving the orange scarf in front of his face.

“On King’s side there is a Queen. There are also horses, fortresses and ministers. In the end, Queen will win everything. So, Jonah, let him eliminate himself. hahaha…”

Mrs. Rose interrupted, 

“You’re not cooperative, Rado. That’s why Lord Jonah is hard on you.”

A pair of Rado’s eyes glittered in a restrained anger, 

“If we switch places, Mrs. Rose. I’m in the doctor’s white coat and walking everywhere with fragrant, highly paid and do not need to sweat blood to get food, while you are me…. if you are me… Yes, I am!” Hissed Rado 

“If Mrs. Rose is Rado, then?” I was immediately provoked. 

I realized Rado knew something about this Chimera, knew a lot.

“If you are me…” Rado looked at Mrs. Rose pointedly.

“Then you who are intelligent won’t want to be treated like this for so long. You will fight, won’t you? You will do this kind of resistance for the sake of self-esteem which have been considered trash in this place.” Rado’s eyes narrowed when he spoke.

I had been uncomfortable, so I ended this session rather than Rado exploded suddenly and being beaten up by soldiers.

“Thank you Rado for his willingness to fill out the questionnaire, now we will return first. See you later.” 

I and Mrs. Rose walked out of the investigation area, while Rado and two soldiers were preparing to return Rado to his cell.

When we came out there was soldier Enricko who had been in front of the investigation room’s door.

“Did it finish, Mrs. Rose?” he asked.

Hadn’t had time for Mrs. Rose answered, suddenly a noise coming from inside the investigation room. Mrs. Rose tried to open the door with a fingerprint scan, but to no avail.  

The fingerprint scan machine was seen emitting fire, there was a short circuit going on! 

Surely Rado had used his electro kinesis ability to damage the electronic system.

Mrs. Rose shocked, the door of investigation room was knocked repeatedly.

“Rado, stop acting up!”

Enricko helped bang on the door, 

“Open the door! Open!” 

Uproar continued to occur inside.

I ran to the observation room, seen from the glass that Rado crouched down while holding Codi’s legs which seemed convulsing. While soldier Doni was sprawled in the corner of the room.

Something terrible was happening!

Mrs. Rose reached for the microphone and shouted, 

“Stop Rado, you shouldn’t to be silly, stop it!”

Rado answered shouting, unaware that the bugging device under the table delivered his voice clearly into the observation room. 

“It seems that Codi’s legs are weak Mrs. Rose, so he needs therapy. Today I give it to him for free, haahaha…”

Only Rado’s voice was heard, while the voices of Codi and Doni were absent. Were they killed?

But I watched Codi’s body still twitching, Rado’s hands still holding Codi’s lower legs.

It was seen smoke coming from Codi’s thighs, Rado shocked him strongly!

I screamed, 

“Rado, please stop it.”

Rado responded by laughing, laughing full of satisfaction.

“Hahaha… King is partying. Sit down and learn to enjoy, hahaha…”

Rado’s left hand was handcuffed by Codi’s hand, while Rado’s right hand was still connected to a plastic strap connected to a table leg. Maybe Codi forgot that the handcuffs he put on Rado were steel that conducts electricity.

Mrs. Rose exited the room, seen several soldiers had gathered at the door of the investigation room. Jeff also appeared to be carrying his tablet, possibly trying to open the door. 

A few moments later.

WHAM!! 

The door was opened.

The soldiers went into the investigation room like the floods hit.
